At Beginnings Ranch & Vineyard, we take pride in cultivating a diverse range of grape varietals, each carefully selected to showcase the unique flavors and characteristics of our terroir. Our vineyard pays homage to the Rhone and Bordeaux regions in France, to the Rueda region in Spain, as we proudly grow Syrah, Tempranillo, Sauvignon Blanc, and Verdejo grapes.

Syrah
This bold and expressive red grape variety thrives in our vineyard, soaking up the warm Paso Robles sunshine and developing intense flavors. Our Syrah grapes boast rich, dark fruit flavors, notes of black pepper, and a velvety texture that delights the palate.

Tempranillo
As a nod to the Spanish winemaking tradition, our Tempranillo grapes lend themselves beautifully to crafting elegant and complex red wines. Expect flavors of red berries, plum, leather, and a subtle earthiness that is characteristic of this beloved varietal.

Sauvignon Blanc
Our Sauvignon Blanc grapes bask in the abundant sunshine of Paso Robles, resulting in vibrant and refreshing white wines. Known for their lively acidity, our Sauvignon Blanc wines showcase crisp citrus flavors, tropical notes, and a herbaceous undertone that adds a delightful complexity.

Verdejo
Hailing from the Rueda region of Spain, Verdejo is a white grape variety that thrives in our vineyard. The warm days and cool nights in Paso Robles create an ideal environment for Verdejo grapes to develop their distinctive flavors. Our Verdejo grapes exhibit bright acidity, flavors of tropical fruits, zesty citrus, and a touch of herbal freshness.
